A geology graduate is required to join our small team in North Wales and be responsible for the interpretation of XRD data derived from rock and soil samples.
The post will be full-time with a working week of 37.5 hours.
Responsibilities will include interpretation of XRD diffractograms for quantification of bulk rock and clay mineralogy and overseeing all processes in the XRD procedure including sample preparation, loading, scanning and quality control. The post will also involve client liaison, data reporting and business development.
A degree in geology is essential. A background in petroleum geology would be an advantage as would an in-depth knowledge and understanding of XRD, XRF and mineralogy. The post will require attention to detail and the ability to work within a small team.
Salary is negotiable dependent upon qualifications and experience.
